Like many companies in the financial services sector, Global Tax Management had let their website age as they focused on critical business process and client management. Meanwhile, competitors in the Big 4 accounting world have created and implemented more contemporary strategies and tactics that were widening the gap in marketing capability. At the client’s behest, Redsqware migrated the client’s data from Drupal, and then assisted them in a complete redesign of the site and reinvention of all content. New web videos which explained the value of the GTM brand to customers and potential employees who helped to keep visitors on the site longer.
Part of the project included the development of a private, fully branded private discussion community for clients, and a microsite, centered around the client’s Risk Management business unit. Structural SEO also played a key role in how the sites were conceived and developed. Redsqware is now in the process of assisting the client in upgrading their larger SEO footprint, and integrating campaign data flow between their website and the Pardot back end to provide better business intelligence. The new GTM website recently won a national award for excellence from the Business Marketing Association – the only one in its category nationwide to do so.
